Global Neuroscience Workplace

Skyline Construction renovated two office suites for a neuroscience-focused organization, creating a workplace that supports both collaboration and individual focus. Engaged prior to design, our team helped shape the overall project approach and recommended both the architect and MEP design build partners best suited to meet the project’s needs. Through ongoing value engineering and close collaboration, we guided key decisions around layout, materials, and systems to balance design intent, functionality, and budget. One suite was reimagined as a modern workspace to improve the day-to-day experience for employees. Interior wall adjustments opened the layout to create a more flexible and collaborative environment. Custom millwork, including a built-in banquette, adds a comfortable setting, while focus rooms and meeting spaces with sound masking and integrated scheduling support productivity and ease of use. The second suite was designed as a versatile meeting and collaboration hub. Operable walls allow two meeting rooms to combine into a larger conference space, supported by extendable tables and acoustic ceiling baffles. Additional features include a wellness room, focus room, and multiple meeting spaces with integrated AV and sound systems. The completed spaces balance flexibility, comfort, and productivity, aligning with the client’s workplace needs and broader mission.
