SEAN HOLLIDAY

VICE PRESIDENT

 

HIS ROLE

Sean oversees the Operations of Skyline’s Capital Construction division including all project management and field teams. He has over 20 years of commercial construction experience and is responsible for guiding the team through recruitment, mentorship, training and operational oversight. The Capital Improvements division specializes in building ground up offices, apartments and hospitality projects, renovating hotels, completing seismic upgrades and replacing exterior building facades.

HIS BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Sean’s love for construction evolved from his technical engineering background. He studied Civil Engineering at UC Davis and dove head first into the industry after graduation. Prior to joining Skyline, Sean spent 14 years at Howard S. Wright (currently Balfour Beatty). He was ultimately drawn to the “family feel” and supportive environment at Skyline.

HIS MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY

Sean models his management style after his career mentors: “I prefer to lead by example. I’m not a general making calls behind the lines, I get in there and am not afraid to roll up my sleeves to do the work with my team.”

HIS INTERESTS

Sean has three kids involved in basketball, baseball, softball and bowling, spending his weekends coaching and supporting his children in their many activities. In his “free” time, he enjoys developing his skills in tennis and golf.
