Here are a few of the ways we like to give back to our community.

ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease is a tragic and terrible disease that struck close to home for our team at Skyline. In 2006 we lost our dear friend and coworker Steve Weaver to ALS at the young age of 39. Every September, we honor Steve by participating in the Ride to Defeat ALS, a bike ride through Napa Valley to raise money for ALS research. Help us reach our annual $30,000 goal by riding or donating to the Team DreamWeavers.

The Family Giving Tree provides Bay Area children in need with backpacks and school supplies to start the year off right, and with holiday gifts to bring in the new year in December and January. Skyline actively participates in both drives, providing gifts and school supplies, donating our time to sort and wrap gifts and backpacks, while also contributing financially to improve the lives of over 100 children in the Bay Area annually. In its 19th year of the existence, the Family Giving Tree the largest gift and backpack donation program in California.

Skyline Construction created a partnership with the BOMA Foundation and San Francisco State University to offer a construction management scholarship and help promote, attract and train the next generation of commercial real estate employees. Our team is committed to helping steer the curriculum, providing internships and valuable work experience, guest lecturing on construction related topics and providing mentorship opportunities to help students grow. The result is a new Bachelor of Science degree from SFSU with an emphasis in commercial real estate.
